Craig McKenzie
Pipe Major
Learning the bagpipes at school as a teenager in 1970, I became Pipe Major of the school band in 1973/4.
I have played with the Newtown and Colac pipe bands, before taking a break for career and family reasons.
I resumed piping in solo contests before again becoming active with pipe bands.
Currently I serve on the committee of the Victorian Pipers Association, the body responsible for all solo piping competitions and development in Victoria.

John Jordan
President
I have been President and a piper with Geelong RSL Pipes and Drums since inception in 2002.
I learned to play the bagpipes in 1958 with the Golden City Pipe Band in Bendigo. I have also played with Geelong Highland, Newtown & Colac pipe bands.
I am also President of the Geelong Highland Gathering Committee.

Marene Turnley
Secretary
I have been a piper with the Geelong RLS Pipes and Drums since it commenced in 2002.
Being part of the Planning Committee and also Secretary/Treasurer since inception, I am very proud of what we have achieved to keep the band progressing.
I began learning the bagpipes with the Geelong Ladies Pipe Band at age 14, and have competed in many contests over the years.
I am most fortunate to have been part of the winning band in several State Championships, Australian Pipe Band Championships, and also the Australian Quickstep Championship.
